Beta Humanitarian Help – Medical help for the developing world

Beta Humanitarian Help is an initiative which was brought to life by Dr. Daniel Sattler, senior physician and surgeon for plastic and cosmetic surgery at The Beta Klinik. The aim of this voluntary initiative, is to travel to the poorest countries in the world and treat local people who need help. Many patients suffer from soft tissue defects on the surface of their bodies, burns, child deformities, (soft tissue-) tumours as well as hand or foot deformities and have neither the possibility nor the means for treatment.

Beta Humanitarian Help

Since 2013, the team have been bringing their surgical expertise, medical manpower, their know-how as well as materials, aids and appliances from Germany with them as they travel to different locations worldwide. Before each trip, the doctors carry out thorough research into the disease symptoms and local medical conditions. This enables them to efficiently plan the work in Germany and then carry out surgical interventions and examinations once arriving at their destination.
